Cancellations and Refunds
All cancellations must be sent in writing or by email to the office that confirmed your reservation. A cancellation is effective from the date the booking office receives your cancellation request.
If a booking is cancelled, the following cancellation fees apply.
For Kilimanjaro Treks
- 15 days or more before departure: no cancellation fee
- 8 to 14 days before departure: 10% of the total tour price
- 0 to 7 days before departure: 50% of the total tour price
For Safaris in Tanzania
- 150 days or more before departure: no cancellation fee
- 90 to 149 days before departure: 10% of the total tour price
- 45 to 89 days before departure: 20% of the total tour price
- 0 to 44 days before departure: 30% of the total tour price
Partial Cancellations
If part of a group cancels, the per-person price for the remaining travellers may increase. This depends on the change in group size and other cost factors.
Change of Dates
You may request to change the dates of your tour. When rescheduling, any applicable cancellation charges and any new charges will apply.
If there are additional charges, the company will inform you before the rescheduling is completed. If the booking is cancelled after rescheduling, the original tour date will be used to calculate any refund.
If We Cancel
The company reserves the right to cancel any tour if cancellation becomes unavoidable. If Mima Adventures Africa cancels your tour, the company will refund all money already paid by the client.
This refund will be the company's sole responsibility to the client, and no additional claim for damages will apply.
