This 3-day lodge safari is built for travellers with limited time who still want a varied northern circuit experience. It brings together Tarangire elephant country, the wildlife-rich Ngorongoro Crater, and the forest-and-lake landscapes of Lake Manyara National Park.
The route moves quickly, but it does not feel one-note. Tarangire gives you baobab scenery, open woodland, and seasonal wildlife movement. Ngorongoro adds the drama of descending into a volcanic caldera where predators, grazers, hippos, and birds share a compact landscape. Lake Manyara finishes the safari with groundwater forest, acacia woodland, lake views, baboons, elephants, and the tree-climbing lions often associated with the park. Accommodation is lodge-based, with comfortable stays arranged along the route.

Your 3-day itinerary
Arrival Day
You will be met on arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, then transferred to your hotel in Arusha for dinner and overnight. This first night keeps the start calm and gives you time to rest before the safari begins.
Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park for a game drive with picnic lunch. Tarangire is known for elephant herds, baobab trees, and seasonal wildlife movement through the Tarangire ecosystem, with the river and nearby wetlands drawing animals during drier months.
Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. The crater floor supports a wide mix of wildlife, including wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, warthog, hippo, elephants, and predators such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and occasionally leopards.
Lake Manyara and Departure
After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park. The park is compact but varied, with groundwater forest, acacia woodland, hot springs, swamps, lake-edge scenery, rich birdlife, baboons, elephants, and the tree-climbing lions often linked with the area. Later, return toward Arusha or the airport.
